I am a student at Ōtaki College in Ōtaki, NZ. My blog is a place where I will be able to share some of my learning. Please note....some work won't be edited - they are just my first drafts, so there may be some errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas on my posts.
Kia Ora Louis,
ReplyDeleteBeing the greatest of all time is quite a feat in and of itself and you’ve made some excellent points about the pros and cons of being the best. You’ve listed some great benefits of being the top chess player in that Gary Kasparov would gain a lot of satisfaction from being the best as well as riches and fame. He’d certainly receive many perks for his skill in the game. You’ve also included some great disadvantages of being at the top. Being the best means constantly practicing and improving so it would take up a lot of time. This would mean you couldn’t perhaps do as many fun things as other people due to a lack of time. You’ve included some really great points and thought out your answers brilliantly. Well done!

Have you heard the saying, ‘Jack of all trades, but master of none is better than being a master of one’? Do you think it’s better to be really good at one thing, or good at lots of things?
